Kaili Hwang
Kaili Hwang, Ed.D, serves as the Head of Lower School at the San Francisco Day School. She brings over 12 years of diverse and dynamic experience as an educator and administrator in school communities around the world ranging from Richmond, California to Bali, Indonesia. Her work focuses on leading and collaborating with faculty, staff, and parents/guardians to nurture and support our youngest learners. She also previously served as a Foundations Manager for education at Common Sense Media. She is passionate about supporting Crowded Fire because she believes in theater as an artistic medium which provokes dialogue and thought, while deepening the human connection (both off and on stage). She saw her first play at CFT, “You For Me For You” and left the theater with more questions than answers and a desire to delve into the complexity with intention and commitment.
