James Ard
Sound Designer
James Ard is a sound designer, composer and noisemaker with a focus on new works, live experiences, and immersive stage productions. Collaborations with Crowded Fire include You For Me For You, Church, On The Periphery, and Edit Annie. Additionally, Ard’s design has been heard in collaborations with The Public Theater, TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, Summerhall at the Edinburgh Fringe, Sibiu International Theatre Festival, Aurora Theatre Company, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, Guthrie Theater, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Portland Center Stage, Cutting Ball Theatre, Shotgun Players, Center Repertory Company, San Francisco Playhouse, Joe Goode Performance Group, American Conservatory Theater, Stanford University, UC Berkeley, and the Atlantic Theatre Company.
